The Wobbler

The effort to track down and indentify both the source(s) and cause of the Wobbler is an ongoing activity.

So far reports of hearing the Wobbler have been made from the following states and provinces:
Alabama, Alberta, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Idaho,
Iowa,
Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire,
New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario, Oregon,
Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas


There are also a variety of frequencies on which the Wobbler has been reported heard:
560, 590, 610, 620, 640, 670, 680, 740, 750, 770, 810, 820, 870, 910, 930, 950, 1100, 1120
Those frequencies on which the Wobbler has been heard by me, are included in the daily activity log shown on the Observations page, and are checked along with new candidates that are not covered by local stations.

There have been suggestions as to what the Wobbler might be and theories about the cause.  As these areas of interest have been and will continue to be investigated, the results are chronicled on these pages.
