Bubble Jammer - Another Suggested Wobbler
Source
Another suggestion for the Wobbler was that it might be what is
known as a Bubble Jammer. These signals are common on the HF
band, suspected of originating from Cuba among other repressive regimes.
A Google search turned up a sample recording of a Bubble Jammer which
is presented here along with its FFT spectrogram. While sounding
somewhat like the Wobbler, I do not think it is the result of
a Bubble Jammer. It is possible there are different
versions of Bubble Jammer of which I do not have an example.
It is easy to imagine it might be some altered version of that signal
since there are similarities.
The MP3 file and the FFT spectrogram of a Bubble Jammer
are included for evaluation of others.
(This spectrogram does not use the
identical settings as that of the Wobbler.)
Investigations into this phenomenon continues. New Wobbler
results will be posted here as they are obtained.
